Activity plans

A programme of activities runs throughout the week and St Vincent’s has its own wheelchair accessible minibus and outings are regularly arranged for residents. Outings arranged so far have included Kew Gardens, canal boat trips, Ruislip Lido, shopping trips, Woburn Abbey and Safari Park, Beckonscott Model Village, the ’Christmas Lights’ and many more.

A regular programme of activities runs throughout the week and a typical week would be:

Monday 8.30 am One-to-ones with residents
  10.30 am Church service or news review
  2.00 pm Group activities
  4.30 pm Church service
Tuesday 8.30 am One-to-ones with residents
  10.30 am Church service or craft activities
  2.30 pm Exercise and crossword
  4.30 pm Church service
Wednesday 8.30 am One-to-ones with residents
  10.30 am Church service or general knowledge quiz
  2.00 pm Singer and keyboard
  4.30 pm Church service
Thursday 8.30 am One-to-ones with residents
  10.30 am Church service or choice of activities
  2.30 pm Exercise and crossword
  4.30 pm Church service
Friday 8.30 am One-to-ones with residents
  10.30 am Church service or coffee and walk in the garden
  2.00 pm Film show
  4.30 pm Church service
